The murders took place near the village of Cedzyna, near Kielce, on the night of 19 September 1991.

Police were called to the scene of a burning Moskwitch car with Ukrainian number-plates.

Three bodies – two male and one female - lay near the wreckage.

All three victims had been shot at close range through the head. The woman had been raped prior to the killing.

Tadeusz G. has already been sentenced for murdering five personnel from several bureaux de change across southern Poland.

However, he is pleading not guilty in the current case, and he has refused to answer questions. Stanislaw P. has entered the same plea, and he is likewise refusing to cooperate with the court.
