The FINANCIAL -- FiberCorp announced that it will offer virtual private services to its customers as part of a cloud services family of services based on Cisco networking technology, according to Cisco. 

The VPS initiative is scheduled to launch in 2012.  FiberCorp offers integral telecommunications solutions to large, medium-sized and small companies as well as stores, professional organizations and governmental entities.

Unlike a traditional server, this new service gives the client access to a virtual infrastructure where processing, memory and disk space are combined according to need. Companies will be able to run their applications, perform activities, and host their data in a virtual infrastructure with a high degree of security without the expense of acquiring and maintaining equipment.
