The FINANCIAL -- Aston
University has been rated among the top 10 UK universities for producing
millionaires.
Research by investment firm Skandia highlights that 2 per cent of the UK’s millionaires went to Aston University, placing Aston University 10th overall.
According to the Aston University, the independent survey of 549 millionaires and multi-millionaires, which recently featured in The Telegraph, also revealed that 65 per cent of those interviewed went to university, with a third achieving a Masters. The survey of UK based millionaires also highlights that 71 per cent attended state school.
Both Aston University and University of Birmingham are featured in the list-placing two West Midlands universities in the top 10. Others on the list include St Andrews, Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, Manchester and Bristol.
